With the lack of space in our apartments today and as more people work at home or take work home, Fogo Design and Tácio Ferraz, both from Brazil, came up a contemporary line of desks for the home office. ‘Milan Design Week 2012’ covers 2 days of one of the most recognized industrial design fair in Europe starting the 17th until the 22nd of april including Salone Internazionale del Mobile and SaloneSatellite, Zona Tortona, Fiesta Del Perdono and other small expositions around the city. The video is 5 and a half minutes, all animations filming and editing were done by my self and the music made by Dubrider and one of my favorite bands from milan called Soulstance.
Most notable designers and products presented on the video at the fair in Milan this year are: ‘The Secret Garden’ by Zaha Hadid, ‘Deskbox For Arco’ by Raw Edges, ‘Light Installation For Toshiba’ by Suppose Design Office, the Nendo collection, ‘Liquidkristal For Lasvit’ by Ross Lovegrove, ‘Mutation Series’ by Maarten De Ceulaer, the chair collection by Konstantin Grcic, ‘Mia For Emu’ by Jean Nouvel, ‘Module H’ by Shigeru ban + Hermès, ‘Ando Light For Venini’ and a ”Prototype Chair’ for Carl Hansen + Son’ by Tadao Ando, ‘Faceture Project’ by Phil Cuttance, the ‘Broom Chair For Emeco’ by Philippe Starck, ‘Teckell Foosball Table by Adriano Design, the collection designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, ‘Altdeutsche Möbel for Moooi’ by Studio Job and Established And Sons light collection just to name a few.
