galerie ernst hilger is currently showing the work of painter mel ramos. ramos is an established artist who has
been contributing to the realm of pop art for many years. he is well known for his pin-up style nudes,
which showcase nude women in 'calendar style' poses, along with larger than life consumer products. his work
draws comparisons between the allure of the female nude and that of mass consumer goods. the show will run
in the gallery until february 16, 2008.
